Sniffling Sneezing, Stuffy head Saturday roll call

I can't believe that it is almost 9 and no roll call has been posted!  Have slept 22 hours out of the past 48 with this horrible cold / flu thing - ick.  At least I wrapped some presents last night, so I felt a little bit productive.

Low key day today - am supposed to get my permanent cap today, but don't think I can subject the dentist and assistant to this plague.  I have an appt for a haircut / dye which I will keep - am in desperate need of some primping.  I won't go to dinner with my family for moms b-day - the last thing I need to do is get my parents sick. 

Am reallly hoping that I feel better tomorrow as we need to get a tree and decorate this house!! 

Well, that's all I have to say for my whiney self today.

I am up and getting things ready for cooking class today.

Sorry you are not feeling well.  My allergies are off the hook this morning, with sneezing as well, but allergy meds stop that stuff as soon as they kick in.

Today is lay low and tidy and organize my apartment.  I did not get over to my storage unit yesterday, so I am doing that today to unload some bulky things and toys that are taking up space in my place.

It is strange that nobody else is up this morning.

I'm moving slowly this morning. We had my work Christmas party last night at our community clubhouse. Everyone had a great time! Very relaxing and fun. Late nite after working all day so trying hard to get my butt moving this morning.

Ok hubby is calling me to look at a potential Xmas gift for me.

Maura, hope you start to feel better soon.  Gene had that took him 3 weeks to shake it, he is just starting to feel better this week.

This morning was a lazy one, just laid in bed for a bit, am up not eating breakfast, my daughter will be here at 11, then we are heading to Center City to go see some of the Christmas displays.  We have Wanamakers (now Macy's), Comcast center, Reading Terminal Market, and the Christmas Village on our list of things to see.  The weekend of the Army/Navy game was the Saturday my mom and I always went into the city, in those days everyone was at the game and Center city was a ghost town, it used to be a great day.  We shall see if that has changed, since it's been probably 35 yrs since I've made the treck to Center City on the Saturday of the game.  My daughter has never seen any of the Christmas displays in the city - first marriage we were not "allowed" out of the ex-hubby's sight and he'd never "allow" me to go to Philadelphia.  So I'm really looking forward to today and showing Bri Philly @ Christmas.

After our trip to Center City, I have to come home and work on my PP presentation for Monday.  I'm working in a group of three and still waiting for the other two to send me their completed portions.  I have the wrap up/conclusion and waiting for the others to take their time is aggrivating.  Especially since this is due on Monday and they have been working on their parts for two weeks now.  If I don't have it here when I get home, I'll just do my part and hope it flows.

If you have a fever with it, go to the doctor. Everyone I know who has had it had bronchitis and it only gets better with antibiotics.

I am heading to cooking class!!  I am so excited as I have been trying to get there since having my surgery (june). I managed to shake both kids off to my mother's so I can fully concentrate on food... LOL

I'm sorry I will miss your 1 year but glad I got a preview! I finally got all of the wonderful hand-me-downs clean and am wearing a beautiful blue buttondown blouse today... size 12!!

Feel better Maura.. sux being sick, especially when you have things you want to do.

As for me, had a great night with the Caines and the Kelleys.  This morning  I took on mommy duty for the baby and let Tanya sleep in a bit.  When she woke up, she took to cleaning my kitchen.. sheesh.. she's supposed to be on a mini vacation. 

We are getting ready to come to Liz's now. 

After, Tanya is going to stay here and babysit while I go out with my friend Carla and her husband.

Believe it or not, it is 9pm and this is the first chance all day that I have been near a computer!!

Had a BLAST last night in AC!! Sorry you couldn't make it :-( We missed you!

Drove home this morning from AC, showered and dressed, took Dee and her friend to a birthday party at Brunswick Zone. OMG! I was falling asleep!! I have not partied and danced that much in DECADES!! Came home to get some rest, then had to go out to the store for a couple of things. Ate dinner, then finally got to the computer.

Tomorrow is up in the air because Dee is getting a cold, hopefully not the plague that you have Maura! I totally forgot that I had planned a family get together for tomorrow afternoon, OOPS! I will have to see how Dee is....as far as I am concerned I could stay in bed all day and that would be ok with me!

Come on Christmas Break, oh how I need you!!
